DCG is the innovator and leader in VHF and UHF Dial Access technology. What is
Dial Access? Simply put, Dial Access allows a VHF/UHF radio user to access a dispatch
station or office via the Public Switch Telephone Network (PTSN). This eliminates costly
dedicated, engineered circuits or repeaters. You use and pay for only the time you are
using the circuit (phone call) and the maintenance of that line is handled by the long
distance service provider! Our customers retain the ability to designate the layout of
their own network in combination with the normal VHF equipment installed at outstations
for in-range reports and ramp operations. In essence, airline customers can tailor their
VHF enroute coverage to suit the needs and growth patterns of their particular flight
operation.
DCG offers two Dial
Access products, the AGI-1100 and the New, Lower Cost FLEX series. Both
systems provide unique features for aviation and land mobile applications.
Both systems offer security, SELCAL paging and alternative remote control,
speech delay, VOX and Tone operation. The newer FLEX product also provides
Telephone Line Sensing which eliminates the dependence on Timers. Instead,
system connect and disconnect is instantaneous."
